Went down to make a cup of tea while it loaded, and when i came back i had this pop up. Tired to load it again same thing. Restarted Football Manager tried to load, and same again. Tried loading from the “load last game” and the normal “load game”. Has anyone had anything like this before? Is the game corrupted. I have heard of corrupted games before, so was just wondering if mine was? Any help all greatful!

It is a corrupt save although having experienced this usually it will make a back-up file automatically in the FM save games folder.

Tactikzz, thank you very much. And nope i havent imported a game from another computer. Illl use your suggestion of putting rolling saves from now on. A new game it is then. Thanks again mate!

Hiya mate, Glenn Wakeford of Sports Interactive has informed a few people that it’s most probably a corrupt save game. The only option would be to start a new game if you don’t have an earlier version of that particular game saved.
It is one of those rare occurrences. You could try turning on rolling saves to stop these troubles in the future.
One question before you start a new game. Have you imported a save game file from another computer to yours? If this is so, it might be that the computer you were working on was running a different patch. You get this error because of that also.
